About six months ago, I planned to curate my own Pop-up Show ~ Kalakar Street. The basic idea to organise this event was to bring together artists from Art, Fashion and Lifestyle backgrounds under one roof to celebrate their work with like minded individuals.
With a line up of 16 exhibitors, a music performance and a poetry session, we came together for the first time on 21.09.2019 in Kolkata. We welcomed a lot of visitors but the event didn’t turn out as we expected due to major rainfall in the city that day.
But, I am grateful to everyone for showing faith on me at the first place. The experience brought a lot of lessons and learnings and new friends.
I’m really thankful to all the exhibitors for being a part of our First Edition and supporting us.
Also, a big thank you and a tight hug to everyone who donated their old clothes. You guys have really made someone’s day special!

P.S. – All the lessons and learnings are noted down and the homework will be done carefully from our side. The next edition is going to be bigger & well planned!
