With a flower in her hand 🌻

“Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.”
– Christina Rossetti

You know when the season changes and it feels like summer? Haven’t summer just bragged in? I mean, just last week I was still carrying a jacket with me and now out of nowhere I feel the need of all things cold. Although, I do prefer summer over winters because of the kind of clothes we can wear in this season.

Coming back to the outfit for today, it is one dress and two looks scene.
Pants have always appealed to me more than skirts (Like, Yes! I love to dress up but you know pants are always more comfortable. Don’t you agree?) Though I have never been a very feminine girl BUT I have my moments. Moments where I want to feel like a young, blossoming lady, with table manners. And floral wrap dress has been one of my favourite trends this spring. Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of spring. I love how they’re super flowy and feminine but also quite comfortable. Flowers will forever be considered as the incarnation of spring, it seems to be a bit familiar but never falling far from extraordinary.

I picked up this floral print wrap dress from Myntra, Miss Chase (you can find the dress here) and I’m super excited to continue wearing it into summer!

Carrying the first look I feel fearless, happy and all other good things but how can I forget my pants. Yes! For the second look I chose to wear the dress as a top.

So here’s my photo story on how I feel when I wear this dress, Beautiful!

Florals not only make me feel pretty, summery, feminine but also ladylike, (with table manners!) as I have already mentioned. A simple floral wrap dress, like I’m wearing here, is enough to take you to a field full of flowers, bathing in the sun, fighting bees and praying that a butterfly sits on you.

And here we come to an end. I hope you like the first transitional summer looks! Please do lemme know in the comments below.

Until the next one,

Much love! 💋
